Frank J. Musso
Frank Musso is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of experience in finance, accounting and management consulting. Frank has expertise in the analysis and preparation of financial statements, audits, tax returns, acquisition reviews and business plans, as well as in providing litigation support, (including special committee investigations of earning management and purchase price arbitrations) and bankruptcy planning (including financial assessments and liquidation analyses).
Prior to joining FMG, Frank served as a financial advisor for several major New York area banks, where he monitored companies operating under forbearance agreements. In this capacity, Frank led a $6 billion food co-op in acquiring its largest member out of bankruptcy. Frank has also performed numerous financial assessments and liquidation analyses on behalf of financial institutions for companies with impaired balance sheets.

Monitoring a $70 million medical diagnostic services company during its refinancing, during which he provided a detailed analysis of revenue by procedure to correct the company’s understanding of profits by center and identified a significant amount of lost revenue due to deficiencies in the patient appointment reconciliation processes.

Monitoring financial performance and compliance with debt covenants for a secured lender to a nursing home chain. The lender repossessed the homes and Frank worked to transition operations to a new manager while satisfying various regulatory and capitalization requirements.

Conducted a due diligence acquisition review for $100 million, publicly-held health care company looking to acquire a provider of home health care equipment.

Audited a $7 million optometry clinic, and developed a cost report used to set Medicaid reimbursement rates.
Frank has assisted diverse companies in preparing financial statements, IPO’s and other SEC filings. He has also worked on several high profile bankruptcies cases as a financial advisor and expert witness, including a food service business, hardware store, supermarket chain, and an automobile dealership.
Frank received his degrees in Accounting and Public Administration from Georgetown University and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
