Samuel Williams
Sam Williams is a turnaround professional with 25 years of business restructuring experience in manufacturing, service, distribution and agricultural industries. As a consultant, Sam has helped maximize stakeholder value for more than 140 financially troubled companies throughout the country.

His typical responsibilities include preparing financial analyses, and developing restructuring strategies in difficult situations involving turnarounds, workouts, refinancings, bankruptcies, asset sales, and liquidations. Sam successfully works with companies to develop weekly cash flow forecasting, including working capital forecasting, and then prepares the weekly budget to actual reporting.
Sam has experience in numerous industries, including automotive, engineering, oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, heat treatment, steel, scrap metal, motorcycles, energy and energy services, environmental, refining, chemicals, injection molding, paper, retail, wholesale, trucking, railway, giftware, travel, lighting, e-commerce, appraisals, clothing, packaging, signage, consumer products, food services, snack food vending, fast food restaurants, meat packing, document sorting, legal services, agriculture, petroleum supply, cable advertising, digital marketing, hobby products, directional drilling, plastics, confections, pillows, equipment rentals, and call centers.
Sam has served in a variety of roles for clients, including President, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Project Management, and Financial Advisor. One of his areas of expertise is the field of bankruptcy, where he has served as a Financial Advisor for both debtors and creditors. He has served all sizes of businesses and works well with management to develop plans to recover from difficult performance periods.
Prior to consulting, Sam was a Chief Operating Officer for a financially-distressed company with five subsidiaries. He began his career as a mechanical engineer for Exxon-Mobil’s Baytown Oil Refinery in Baytown, Texas after the completion of his undergraduate studies.
Sam received an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with honors from the University of Arkansas.
