Thomas Dawe
Thomas Dawe is a Senior Consultant with Focus Management Group and has over 30 years of experience involving financial restructuring and loan workouts, credit analysis and underwriting, bankruptcy negotiation and loan portfolio management. His industry experience includes real estate, manufacturing, bio-tech, construction, restaurant, retail and finance companies.
Thomas is adept at preparing Fair Market Valuation Opinions on private, going-concern enterprises.
He has successfully served as the lead manager for numerous mergers and acquisitions in the real estate sector, and developed financial planning and analysis tools for departments to use in managing properties for third parties. Prior to these roles, he worked as Managing Director for Prudential Real Estate & Relocation Services, Inc., where he successfully restructured over $100 million in non-performing investments, increasing recoveries by over $25 million.
As Vice President for a multi-national bank and financial services company, Rabobank Nederland, he was responsible for underwriting structured loans to large corporate borrowers, analyzing the financial statements and projections for portfolio companies, developing ongoing annual budgets for borrowers, and maintaining quarterly variance analysis. In addition, he founded and managed the Franchise Finance Unit, providing over $200 million in warehouse lending facilities and long-term bond financing for major fast food restaurant chains.
Thomas received an MBA from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of the Kellogg Graduate Business School, Northwestern University Executive Training Program.
