J. Tim Pruban
Tim Pruban is the founder of Focus Management Group, a leading nationwide financial advisory and management consulting group with over 50 staff professionals. He has personally served more than 500 companies, and through engagements on behalf of stakeholders of distressed companies has facilitated the sale of over $5 billion of assets and led the collection of over $1 billion of accounts receivable.

As a turnaround management specialist with over 30 years of experience, Tim is accomplished in business restructuring, asset recovery, liquidation management and asset sales. Tim has wide-ranging experience working on behalf of stakeholders to preserve value and maximize recovery in distressed situations. He is a recognized expert in strategic business planning, operations management, bankruptcy, organizational restructuring and interim management.
Tim has managed, overseen and worked directly on specific liquidation and asset recovery engagements for a range of leading financial institutions, including American Capital Strategies, Bank of America, BMO/Harris Bank, Capital One, CIBC, Citibank, Regions, PNC, SunTrust, Textron Financial, US Bank, and Wells Fargo. Tim works with a variety of private equity firms and is well respected for his ability to evaluate potential opportunities and lead turn around strategies for portfolio companies. Tim has also worked closely with long term investors and lenders such at MetLife and Prudential.
Tim is a Court-Appointed Responsible Person, Advisor and Chief Restructuring Officer to Debtors-In-Possession for numerous Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, and has served as a receiver and ABC in multiple jurisdictions and in multiple disciplines. Tim is experienced in all aspects of corporate restructuring both in and outside of court protection.

DePaul University, Chicago, awarded Tim his MBA with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Tim also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy from DePaul.
