Vlad Altmark is a Managing Director at Focus Management Group, and brings over 30 years of financial, operating, and information technology experience. Vlad specializes in turnaround management, financial management and analysis, profit enhancement, operations improvement, restructuring plans, due diligence and customer service.

Vlad's experience as a senior finance professional comes from working with more than 100 companies in various industries, providing financial restructuring services, budgeting, cash management and cash flow forecasting, product or service costing, sales and marketing support, and strategic planning. In numerous engagements, Vlad worked closely with the existing leadership team to help lead the organization through challenging events and implement recovery strategies.
 

Vlad is skilled at assessing the viability of businesses, coordinating profitability and financial targets, developing MRP systems, managing cash flow, developing recovery plans, performing due diligence reviews and serving in an interim-management capacity to stabilize troubled businesses.
 

Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Vlad was part of the senior management team for a leading supplier of advanced electronics and control system components, where he was responsible for implementing departmental measurements to drive improvement in performance.  During his tenure, Vlad implemented standardization of processes to increase efficiency and reconfigured the Company’s credit and customer service department in order to generate significant cost savings.
 

In a previous role, Vlad served as a senior manager in the Finance division for a global leader in coding solutions for products and packaging, where he was instrumental in driving down costs, and implementing a standard work process through improvement of operating efficiency. As part of the management team, Vlad also led and participated in multiple six-sigma kaizen events across the Company.
 

Vlad was awarded his MBA in Strategic Management, with distinction, as well as his Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
